An earthworm is adapted to its environment by:
- its pointed tail and circular muscles.
- Brown camouflage skin blends with the soil
- Moist skin to allow oxygen to pass through
- Pointed head cuts through the soil
- sleeps in the winter
Earthworms have slippery bodies which make them streamlined in the soil and this means they can move around with ease, as well as that they are the brown color to the soil which means that they are easier to camouflage form they predators.
