No, they did not. Dinosaurs are not extinct. There are twice as many dinosaur species alive today than there are mammal species.

We just call them birds.

This question probably refers to 'non-avian' dinosaurs, in this case probably not.

Not all dinosaurs are carnivorous and therefore wouldn't eat each other. Other factors would have effected their extinction.
