There are different term limits for every federal position. Any federal position can be impeached, meaning the person is removed and the term is over.
- President: Limited to 2 four year terms.
- Vice-President: Unlimited four year terms
- Senate: Unlimited six year terms
- House of Representatives: Unlimited two year terms
- Supreme Court: No limit, the Supreme Court position is held until death or stepping down.
