the HR of an anesthetized dog varies greatly, and depends on a number of different factors. such as... the type of anethestic used, the amount of anesthetic given (usually dependant on how evasive the procedure is), the breed of dog (bulldogs areknown to be sensitive to anesthetics many of which have adverse reactions affecting the HR) the size of the dog (the larger the dog, the slower the HR), and finally the age of the dog ( the older they are the slower the HR). normally the HR should stay between 70 and 150 but of course it can be higher or even lower depending on the circumstances.
