There is great diversity among mammals, so there is also great diversity among their lifespans. Most mice and shrews don't even live for a year in the wild. But on the other extreme, elephants live for about seventy years, humans (in first-world countries) live for about eighty years, and the bowhead whale lives for over 100 years, with some individuals even reaching 200 years old.
