Why are Excel skills are important in the job market?

The need for Excel is very important to any business. It is used for matching and analyzing cost. Validating and maintaining item/cost information, analyzing cost variances for inventory. Auditing/processing invoices. Excel spreadsheet is used to store quantitative data and to perform accurate and rapid calculations with results ranging from simple budgets to financial analyses and statistical analyzes. Excel is part of a user interface which is the meeting point between computer software and the person using it and provides the means for a person to communicate with a software program. All businesses rely on some form of number system to keep track of merchandise, customer service surveys, stocks and employees. A system of accounting is used to keep records of employees, merchandise, materials, and all aspects that has to do with that business. The need for Excel falls in the category of this need to keep the flow of the business. Since we are in the age of the computer the only use for paper is the backup system when the computers are down. This program is a more accurate way to keep up with the operation of any business.
