How do you kill a bed bug?

Bed bugs can be extremely hard to kill. Some pesticides, including those you can buy at the store, will kill any bed bugs that they actually touch. However, getting rid of hidden bed bugs is almost impossible that way. The best way to kill them is to heat the room they are in to at least 115 degrees F and hold it there for a minimum of 4 hours. The bedbugs cannot survive that much heat for that long.
