Can spectracide bug stop home barrier be sprayed in my home along my rugs?

You can but a barrier is more effective on the outside so they don't get in. Most pesticides kill/repel at the same time and although this has a residual, is an EC and a weak solution. I would use something stronger outside at first, indoors if necessary and use a wp (powder) the grit stays on the surface so tend to be more effective and the EC's since contain no powder tend to soak in and disappear on porous surfaces, break down faster w/UV and contain solvents which could burn some plants and even bleach some fabrics
