Why do bearded dragons need a heating light?

because they are cold blooded so hey cant control wat there body temperature is. watever temperature it is around them, that is there body temperature is. and there body temperature needs to be hot or they would die if it were to cold. so they ned a heating light so it will be warm aroud them all the time.
