Does a 1999 sea doo jet ski have an alternator?

Technically no. But it has a magneto and a rectifier/regulator which pretty much accomplishes the same thing. They both use a rotating shaft to produce electricity by moving a permanent magnetic and ultimately charge a battery and maintain a DC supply for onboard electronics.
