Metro PCs is able to "flash" phones from other carriers for use with their service under certain conditions. The phones must be CDMA, meaning they do not use a SIM Card (Major CDMA carriers include Sprint, Verizon, Qwest, Cricket, Alltel). You will not be able to access all features of the service when using a flashed phone, these phones are good for calls and texting only.
