What can you do if your son has had a bad rash on his butthole for a month and buttpaste zinc oxide neosporin and antifungal creams have not helped and now you wipe blood from his butt when he poops?

ANSWER: How old is your son? Is he still in diapers? Regardless, I would discontinue the anti-fungal completely. My great-nephew had a similar problem. After he would pee, I'd gently wipe him with a baby cloth and powder him well with CORNSTARCH BABY POWER to keep his bottom dry. At all other times, after each poop and AT BED, try coating his butt real good with A&D ointment. You can buy it in the diaper isle of your store where you by diapers and wipes. Everytime he poops or when you put him to bed, put plenty of A&D. If it's not gone within a week, I'd take him to the doctor. Good Luck!! <>
