All 1927 Walking Liberty halves were struck at San Francisco so they have an S mint mark on the back at roughly the 8:00 position. Numismedia lists the following approximate retail values as of 07/2012:
Very worn condition - $18
Moderately worn - $21
Slightly worn - $45
Almost no wear - $567
Uncirculated - $1,050 to $26,000 depending on quality
