Why does Scout walk with Arthur to his house?

Scout walks with Arthur (Boo) to his house because she wants to make sure he gets home safely after the events of the night and to show her gratitude for saving her and Jem's lives. It also symbolizes Scout's growing understanding and empathy towards Boo Radley as she sees him in a new light.
