The answer to this question depends on the version and tuning state of the respective Nissan Skyline. The Skyline is and was available with multiple engines.
In Japan, all versions were limited to a top-speed of 180 km/h. With a delimited and modified engine, Nissan Skylines are very well capable of speeds in excess of 200 mph, though.
mkay, so...
your are saying that a skyline. (your not specifying model. GTS-T, GTS, GTR, GTR-M-spec, GTR Vspec, GTR VspecII, GTR Z-tune, GTR R-tune.)
is limited to going around 110mph. do you seriouisly know that? or think that?
and by the way, they were NOT speed limited, they WERE limited in power, not top speed. see the Japanese performace 'gentlemen's agreement'. i bet you a 1999 R34 GTR that it will go at least 150mph. that's with 280~hp stock. hell, even a GTS-T will go 120.
and even if your talking about the old school 70s GTRs they could push 120.
Response: Most Japanese cars are electronically limited to 180kph from the factory as a safety feature. The guy above was not saying the car could not mechanically go faster than that. You can have the speed limiter removed and the car will go quicker. By the way we don't "think that", it is a fact.without a speed limiter a Nissan r35 goes up to 365kmph
