How long does a squash bug live?

Squash bugs typically live for about 4 to 6 weeks in the adult stage. However, their lifespan can be extended under favorable conditions, such as a warm climate with ample food. They go through several nymph stages before reaching adulthood, during which they can survive for several weeks as well. Overall, the entire life cycle from egg to adult can take around 30 to 40 days.
