How would bleach affect a Gatorade bottle?

Im 11 but i do know the answer to this because i did en experiment that could have cutted off my finger. Bleach and Rubbing alcahol can affect any kind of plastic by melting the plastic and turning it into a unsmooth and jagged part. Rubbing alcahol or bleach can not spread on the plastic though.
