Why was the grass fight caused?

The Grass Fight was a small battle during the Texas Revolution. It was a fight between the Mexican army and Texas' army. The battle took place on November 26, 1835, just south of San Antonio. The reason the Grass Fight is named grass fight is becausethe Texans had attacked some Mexicans believing they had silver but it turned out just to be grass.
