My 2nd gen. iPod touch did a reset. now when i turn it on all i get on the screen is the charger plug going into itunes on the computer and i can't get it to do anything else. what do i need to do to?

What you don't tell us if the reset is after a update. I have found that if you hold home and power buttons down at the same time it will come up with the Apple symbol on the face. It will then boot up normal. Try that.
