How often do you rinse your mouth with mouthwash after getting your tongue pierced?

I am 13 years old and i have my tongue piercied.I may be just alittle kid but i still have it in. I've had it for awhile now. my tongue was very difficult and stubborn. when i would clean it it would puss up even more...then i stopped cleaning it and washing it out. to my suprise it helped alot. i stopped cleaning and rinsing it out at about 5 weeks. it seemed like it was going against me more than it was helping me. so i stopped at 5 weeks. and now have a very healed tongue ring. i love it and don't care what anyone else says about it.
