• Check Consumer Reports for the information on reliablility. They have all the goods on every type of car. You can subscribe online and search for your particular model of interest or subscribe to the magazine and wait for the annual car issue to come out. Once per year, you get all of the current car ratings and another time during the year you get all used cars at-a-glance back to 1987.

• Daewoo's are reliable only until you get into an accident, then the parts and cost of fixing them skyrockets. I would advise on leasing one.
