Where is the battery in a 2005 BMW 6 series located?

The battery in the 2005 BMW 645ci is in the trunk underneath the trunk liner. You take everything out of the trunk then peel away the cover and there you are. A tool kit sould be on top or next to it. The Battery for this year is not hooked up to an automatic run down system I think. Im gonna say most BMW or German car makers put the battery in the back. Its a safety and room issue.
