Why is your pet raccoon gagging white foam?

If the raccoon is foaming at the mouth STAY AWAY FROM IT !

This animal is more likely to have rabies, which can be transmitted through a bite. I suggest calling pest control to help you (humanely) trap and deal with the animal. If you are bitten, go to the doctor immediately and receive the proper medical help. Raccoons can be dangerous when they sense danger.
