What are the differences between a lily and daisy?

Daisies are composite flower, meaning that they are made up of hundreds of tiny, individual flowers. What we would call petals on a daisy are, in fact, the ray flower. Lilies are one large flower with stamen, ovules, petals, a carpel, a stigma, etc.
