You support members of your team by:

* Offering open, honest, and direct communication with them. * Respecting the opinion of those on your team (not necessarily agreeing). * Encouraging, nurturing, and building others up. * Using appropriate listening skills. (very important)

* Looking at goals and objectives from a team stand-point rather than individual self interests. * Offering additional help if and when needed. * Offering leadership skills when necessary.

* Using good critical thinking skills particular to team goals, and objectives.
