There is a riveted triangular, black metal plate under the bed, on top of the trans. Linkage travels through it. All you do is drill out the rivets; 1/4" bit, loosen the nut on top of the shaft that goes down in to the case, and rotate the shaft counter-clockwise before re-tightening the nut. Be careful not to over adjust because you can over rev the motor and cause damage. adjust in increments and test drive to achieve a small, satisfactory result. You do not want to go over 35-40 mph or 4000 rpm or so. This can be checked using a portable gps unit. Also, if your mule is still under warranty, this will void it! So perform at your own risk.
Good luck and enjoy your new, faster mule 610.
