Left behind-the Kids is about the Rapture of Jesus' church. Four children, Judd, Vicki, Lionel, and Ryan are left behind. All but Ryan's parents were raptured because they believed in Jesus. (Ryan's died after the Rapture) The four find their way to new Hope Village church where Bruce Barnes, a church official who was left behind tells them what happened-God came for His believers and brought them to heaven. Eventually all come to believe and under guidance from their new pastor, form the young tribulation force, a group of kids that must try to survive the last seven years of the Earth while telling others about Jesus. They must face judgments sent by God, such as Earthquakes and asteroids falling to Earth, and the persecution of all who do not follow the Antichrist, Nicolae Carpathia. Some die along the way, but the young trib. force continues to grow and survive. It has scripture, adventure, unexpected twists, good vs. evil, romance, and a climactic ending. In all 40 books, you will not be dissapointed. It is worthwhile to read for young christians and even non-christians. You can find the series usually in the library. For adults, there is also "The tribulation" series of adults living out their last days on Earth until Jesus comes back.
