No circumcision is a religious rite and is of no benefit to the person mutilated in this way. Some would claim that there is a health benefit. However besides the ancients not having any real understanding of the reason for infection it does in fact not significantly reduce the risk of infection. As a mater of fact the damage done by at least 2% of circumcisions far out weigh doing nothing with the natural state of the penis.
