How long do pregnant elephants hold their baby elephant?

Male elephants, called bulls, begin producing

sperm between 10 & 15 years of age, sometimes even earlier in

zoos. Typically, wild female elephants will begin reproducing at

12-14 years of age; again, sometimes earlier in zoos.
