What is a math conundrum?

A math riddle is a question or statement (that relates to math) that was created to exercise one's ingenuity in answering it.

Here's an example:

There are 3 Apples on my friend's table, I take two, how many Apples do I have?

or Q: Why is 6 afraid of 7? A: Because 7 8 9.
