1. Several possibilities come to mind, but the most common is the mechanical fuel pump leaking from the weep hole. Advance Auto sold me mine 9/08 for $99 (a Carter pump in a Bosch box w/ lifetime warranty).
2. The 1 1/4" banjo bolt on the head is suspect as well.
* Be sure to protect/save the crush washer*
3. Be sure to check the fuel drain valve of the right front corner of the bowl. The O-rings can go bad.
DO NOT USE REGULAR FUEL HOSE TO REPLACE THE 3 SHORT PIECES.

Go to Ford and buy the blue Aeroquip hoses. Be safe and invest the $$$.
Longer Blue hose, 1 required: F4TZ-9324-CA (KFL33)
Shorter Blue hoses, 2 required: F4TZ-9324-DA (KFL35)
They are oil and flame resistant. The new ultralow sulfur diesel (ULSD) degrades rubber faster. 3 pieces total, 2 are the same @ 2" and @ 2.875"
