How do you connect 5.1 output to stereo input?

Just connect the to main speaker leads to the input, the receiver will do the rest. Don't cross the wires trying to get all audio function. This could blow both units. Keep the volume low on your sending unit for the input is preamp only. Or you can Buy a converter....If one exists.
