It is about two weeks of fulltime work following and doing the tasks for the server/trainer..I worked at the one in Framingham, MA and I don't suggest that anybody work there for some of the following reasons...
First off don't expect to get paid for training, which of course is illegal, but I needed the job so I said OK..STUPID ME! This is where the taking advantage of employees was evident all across the board, from small things to, major things like having to pay out of pocket for guest mistakes and confusions on pricing. Its a restaurant that mainly relies on reservations and based on hat as servers we fight and argued over who got what because there are very few people out there now a days willing to spend a hundred or more dollars for a couple for food hat you need to cook yourself (mainly). You need t basically make cheese Fondue carry hot pots at you own risk, and spend ALOT of time at each table so you might get seven in one night..overall I never received the consistent money that I was first mentioned when I was hired, never-mind not being paid to train...keep that in mind!!!! maybe just my location though.
