How can you shine up a 1923 dime?

Hi, this is Derek ... I listed my name so that you know I'm not trying to be an (a*s) when I say this, but simply trying to make it CLEAR ! Not being a dealer or anything like that, from what I've been told, and read, time and time and time again , the best way to "shine up" your dime or any other coin is , " WITH IGNORANCE " !!! My sincere applolgy for being so blunt but as I was told, this way you'll know the real importance, and it will stick with you !!! Most REAL COIN COLLECTORS, won't even be interested in your coins if you clean them in ANY way !!! They say that the (other than like uncirculated coins) are better if they show their age and "character" (the life they've lived !!! With Utmost Sincerety ; " DEREK " p.s...
