Is it bad to drive with a worn wheel bearing?

Well, it ain't clever, that's for sure.

Thing is once its started to go it's very hard to say how long it'll last.

And if it seizes, it can lock the wheel up, or maybe even make the wheel come off, which is a ride-stopping, wallet-emptying kind of event.
