How do you change gear oil in a opel?

Hi. I am from Azerbaijan and I would like to ask one question about Opel vectra 1.8 1998. Duringchanging gearbox oil observed that colour of the drained oil was completely black. after 7000 km Oil changed again and observed the same picture. Why is oil changing colour? Thanks in advance.
