Well, it really doesn't say those exact Words. It simply states that Scourge's father had a ginger coat, just like Firestar. And, for some reason, Scourge's father was not there when the kits were growing up. Sure, maybe he died, but maybe he ran off to be with Firestar's mom. If you receive Erin Hunter's author tracker, you know that Erin Hunter said that if you read The Rise of Scourge carefully, you might find the biggest secret of the Warrior books ever, another clue that they are half brothers.
