WARNING! This is a bigger job than it sounds. It is a MAJOR undertaking.

In order to remove the driver side valve cover I had to remove crash bolts in the back of the engine which if it hasn't been removed yet is ridiculously hard to reach. This helped me get enough slack in the wire harness's to remove. Crash bolts are two holding the outer part of the unit and one holding the inner part of the unit (three in total feel for them). If you can avoid removal of the crash bolts, by all means do so.

I also loosened the Power Steering unit and slid away from the valve cover. I also disassembles all wire harnesses going over the valve cover for room. If you think that's tough, it gets better.

Take a pry bar and gently pry between steering unit and wiper tray assembly pushing the wiper tray assembly up as little as possible to clear the valve cover while rolling the valve cover upward until clear.

Passenger side, remove the vacuum unit (sorry I don't know the name) above the valve cover. You now need to remove the a/c evaporator from the firewall (another major job).

You should now be able to remove the passenger side. Good luck...
