How does ashark reproduse?

Sharks primarily reproduce through a process called ovoviviparity or viviparity, though some species also lay eggs (oviparity). In ovoviviparous species, eggs develop inside the female's body and hatch internally, with the young being born live. In viviparous species, embryos receive nutrients directly from the mother, similar to mammals. Oviparous sharks, like the horn shark, lay eggs in protective cases known as "mermaid's purses" that develop outside the mother.
