Are there any side effects to suboxone?

Unfortunately yes. As with any medication they can be minor to life threatening, but usually pretty minor. I would say if you are on a maintenence program your number 1 side effect is going to be constipation!! You will most likely become constipated so you should adjust your diet accordingly to keep those bowels a movin! The other side effects are pretty much the same as with any other opiate but the dangers of respitory depression is less likely with suboxone, although I have noticed that it will make me a bit nauseous sometimes.
