What is a wildbeest prey?

Wildebeests, or gnus, primarily graze on grasses and are herbivores. They are preyed upon by several predators, including lions, hyenas, crocodiles, and leopards, particularly during their annual migration across the Serengeti and Maasai Mara. Their massive herds and migratory patterns help reduce individual predation risk, but young or injured wildebeests are most vulnerable to attack.
