Why don't carnations color fully in blue food coloring and daisies do?

Carndinations are not white. Some may be, but a certain chemical in the flower does not allow blue light and substances in it. Daisies have yellow in them, so colored substances are allowed to travel through the veins of the flower. Answered by Kayley, age 10
