What is considered a comfortable room temp?

Although everyone has a personal preference, "room temperature" should be comfortable for most people between 68 and 72 F degrees. Many people, however, prefer a lower temperature, ranging from 62 to 65 degrees. Sun-lovers may feel quite comfortable at temps above 77-degrees F.

However, most health care settings (doctors' offices; hospitals; clinics) are difficult to regulate so there are hotter and colder rooms in every facility. Also, hospitals and nursing homes often keep the normal air temperature higher because the ill and elderly often feel colder than younger and healthy persons.
