Lars Ulrich (born December 26, 1963) is a Danish drummer best known as one of the founders of American heavy metal band Metallica.

There is as of today 16'th of April 2010 no indication or facts available to support a theory of him being dead.

This will some time in the future change as nobody live forever.

Their art and their music however will forever live as long as we take care of and remember it.
