Is it free to get a paternity test after the baby is born while in the hospital?

Hospitals charge you for everything with the exception of the air you breath (and they just might consider that one too! LOL) Although the process of taking blood and testing the genetics as to who the father is, it's still an expensive test and here in Canada it's approx $1200 for that test to be done. Prices may vary. If you have a family doctor talk to him/her and see what your alternatives are. Good luck Marcy
