I have an 8 month old and it looks like he has a small wart on his hand can babies as young as this get warts and how can i treat it?

It is possible it is a wart, warts are caused by a virus and babies could be susceptible to the virus that causes them. I would have it looked at by a doctor to make sure. It would be a mistake to try to treat it yourself, because he is so young and probably still puts his hands in his mouth. There are treatments that can be very simple, but you would not want to do anything that could possibly introduce a poison that he could ingest. I would have a doctor look at it, and make sure that is what it is, and then proceed with what he recommends.
