Yes. It seems that there is an ancient one from India or China. Many stories like this one come down from two or three sources of the Middle East, India, or China. They are carried on trade routes as oral stories ( very much like the tale of Robin Hood) and as they move with time and people they change to fit the storyteller and the culture.
