What is The High Chaparral?

The High Chaparral was an old, western, television series that was aired 1967-1974.

It was about a man names 'Big' John Cannon that bought a ranch with his wife, Annalee, his brother, Buck, and his son, Billy Blue Boy. Although Buck and Blue went to find ranch hands to help protect the High Chaparral there was still a good risk. When Annalee dies by a Apache arrow, he got made to marry a rich girl called Victoria and she had a brother named Manolito.

The Apache's (Indians) and the Montoya ranch were attacking The High Chaparral until Don Sebastian, Manolito's and Victoria's father, made Victoria marry John.

John could finally makes alliance with the Apache's. (If you don't believe me then look at the episode 'Apache Trust.'

If I was you I would really try out The High Chaparral as it is brilliant and you should definitely watch it. I asked some of the teachers at my school and my best friends dad (53) and they all say that Manolito was their favorite character. Please try this, I really recommend it.
