To successfully seed an avocado pit, remove it from the avocado carefully, wash off any remaining fruit, and allow it to dry for a few days. Then, insert toothpicks into the pit and suspend it over a glass of water, making sure the bottom is submerged. Change the water every few days and wait for roots to grow.
