Can you feed a 5 month old puppy human food?

AnswerI think any kind of carrots and some cut-up or small pieces of fruit. Pretty much anything that you can cut and won't poison dogs. (choclate, raisins etc....) Answer 2----WARNINGAnswer 1 may be OK, EXCEPT that chocolate is poisonous to dogs, and I have been told by more than one Veterinarian that pork meat products, ESPECIALLY ham is very toxic to dogs, and eating of either chocolate or ham can kill a dog.

Don't give him grapes or nuts either. There's a lot of human food a dog can eat. But be careful about the amount you give him if you want him to stay on kibble - he may want to ditch his kibble for the human stuff - which is not a bad idea because dry kibble is ridiculous to give a dog, considering they are CARNIVORES.

My opinion is to give them a big frank or ham but cut it into small pieces and watch your dog eat happy!!:]
